What I Can't Do

  1. I can't sing a song that would make audiences applaud.
  2. I can't play any musical instrument well enough to amount to a song.
  3. I can't write poetry very well.
  4. I can't read faster than I can form the words in my mind.
  5. I can't impress people with my good looks or the size of my muscles.
  6. I can't talk for 5 min. without stuttering at least once.
  7. I can't play sports very well (or even hang in conversations about sports).
  8. I can't cook very well.
  9. I can't boast about contests or trophies I've won.
  10. I can't swim without holding my nose (which also means I can't dive).
  11. I can't point out where even half of the 50 States are.
  12. I can't ice skate without making a fool of myself (ask Amie).
  13. I can't impress people by how much I exercise (I don't) or how much I can lift (not much).
  14. I can't impress people by the things I own, car I drive, or house I live in.
  15. Lastly, in and of myself, I can't be the man I ought to be.

What I Can Do:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
