This Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan seems to be a great one if you're interested in trying to read through the Bible in 2009. If you've tried one of these plans before you know that there's nothing more discouraging than falling behind. The reason why I say this one is for "real people" is because it offers several free days each month you can use as catch up days. Plus, if reading through the whole Bible in a year seems a bit too much, you can easily choose a different plan. For example, you could read the gospels and the wisdom books this year, and the other two categories next year.
