Our 2 month furlough has us traveling to different churches to speak about our work in Belize. Thankfully, we were invited to speak at the church we once attended while in Seminary. So that brought us up to Louisville, Kentucky and we're staying in the Seminary's hotel. Walking around the campus again, seeing the once familiar hallways, seeing the professors, and, ahh yes, the campus book store has all been wonderful. I actually saw Al Mohler himself browsing through the bookstore this afternoon. This has been such a great visit.
Just to let you all know, Lord willing, I'll once again be chipping away at my Master's degree in January. I'll have to take a mixture of one week, on-campus classes and on-line classes. If all goes well, going at the pace I have to go (3 classes a year), I should complete my degree in 5 years.
We return to Alabama on Monday. Until then, we're soaking it all up. In my opinion, this is one of the most blessed pieces of real-estate on earth.
