Our mission organization has a motto that we're "A great mission family." As one big family when one of us hurts we all naturally feel it. The Whittakers are one of the families that are hurting right now. This picture was taken a few months ago of their 4 year old daughter Susana. She's dying of cancer. Her tumors seemed to be getting better but have recently come back and she's only expected to live a few more months.
Though she's been poked and prodded and tested she's learned from her parents to praise God in the trials. That's what she's doing in this photo to one of their favorite praise songs by Matt Redman.

Thanks so much for your prayers and support. Though this is the most agonizing season ever, we know that God is walking with us through the valley of the shadow. We only pray that He is glorified in everything.
