Gideon is one of my students receiving Bible training. He's done great in and outside of class. One way I wanted to further disciple him is by letting someone else do it. Let me explain. I've invited him to come along with me to a 3 day Bible conference in Orlando. Some of the key speakers are R.C. Sproul and John Piper. We're having a great time and Gideon is soaking it all in. He's never been to anything like this before. It's great seeing him learn so much from such godly men and leaders who can take him further in the Scriptures than I can.
We have one day left of the conference and we can't
wait. We also can't wait to get some rest tonight. We've been pulling some late nights since we left Belize, then staying up late talking, or going to Walmart last night!
What a blessing it is to be here, and to be able to bless Gideon with something like this too. Pray that we'll go out with a bang tomorrow.
