Hello...Pastor?

Would you believe that this young man was a pastor at the age of 17? I recently received this pic. via e-mail from someone who met him on a 2004 medical mission trip to his village. At that time he lived in Laguna Village and was pastor of the Pentecostal Church there.

Guys like this are why we're here. They've become pastor possibly because they can read better than anyone esle. Sometimes it's because they're the most dedicated believer in the church. Either way, neither of these qualify someone to be a shepherd of a flock, but they are none the less. So we will train them if they so desire since they already have the position.

Pray for this young man. I will look for him in weeks to come and Lord willing he will want to be trained the word of God that he may rightly proclaim it to his church, village, Belize, the world.
