Our Bible class has decided that one great way for us to make a difference is by getting out and serving others. Thus, Saturdays of Service was born. One Sat. a month we will help a local person or family with a genuine need.
This past Sat. we came together to help a family by purchasing school supplies for four of their children since school started this week. As you can see from the photo of their house this family was truly in need and truly thankful to receive the help.
Of course their greatest need is to know Christ so we also included a tract and Bible and prayed for them before we left. The wife told us that she can't read so good but she tries. Bless her heart.
