The Holiness of God - Part 1

This was written by two solid Christian gentlemen, Timothy Brindle and Shai Linne. Think of it as a poem. Let me know what you think.

The Sovereign LORD Reigns, He's robed with majesty
He often pours flames on foes with tragic heat
As tellers of His story- He'll never snooze or tire
He's a consuming fire who's jealous for His glory
Man's deceitful in his heart- he loves sin and satan
But God's completely set apart above His creation
He's foreign to humans in His infinity,
divinity and the Trinity's glorious union
He forever soars high, the Lord lies never
His Holiness- the only attribute He ever swore by
Taught what God has wrought, Amazed by God's displays
His thoughts are not our thoughts, our ways are not His ways
His purpose is His glory and He's lurking in obscurity
He certainly is Holy and He's perfect in His purity
He's furious in might and you think you're in the right
When sinless angels are surely in fright and not pure in His sight?
Fear this mighty King- His appearance: Frightening
The sound of His voice is the fiercest lightning
You dare defy Him? Be scared of dying
Because to see His glory is terrifying
Of His enemies the LORD is an avenger
Adore Him and surrender, see the horror of His splendor
To the glory of Christ, we rhyme solely
God is love and He's three times Holy!
