Yesterday was shipping day. About 2 months ago we learned about a company 2 1/2 hours away from us that ships things by boat to Belize. So now we'll have more than just what's in our suitcases. For example, I boxed up all my precious books. Ten of the 35 boxes were my books. It was sad parting with them for a season. I told them I would see them again in a few weeks. I think I'll be ok until then.
Bob and Rhonda are in the States for a little while and drove over from TX to help us properly label and ship them. It was a great visit and really gave us a foretaste of working with them in Belize. It also pumped me up for the work there. Plus, Bob, my dad, and I made the road trip down to Camden,AL and back with the boxes to drop them off. We learned a lot more about the future ministry by getting to pick Bob's brain during the trip. My dad is excited about being our State side helper for future things we might need shipped down (Bibles, books, curriculum, etc.)
Belize here we come!
