Future Defender

This past weekend we went to TN to visit some great friends of the family (the Bradfields and the Bridenstines) then headed up to KY so I could speak at the church we attended while in seminary. We stayed at Southern Seminary's on campus hotel called the Legacy Center. For our reading pleasure they provided some of Albert Mohler's (president of Southern Seminary) books on one of the desks.

Our 1st night there I layed down and began to read aloud Atheism Remix. Because Levi was beside me he began to listen as if I was reading him a bedtime story. He then sat up and began pointing at words on the page.

I think he wanted to know all about this New Atheism and wanted to hear what Dr. Mohler had to say about it. Every so often he would look at me and say something like "Doo da da doo!" He stopped listening after the intro. I think he'd absorbed the summary of the book and felt he was well equipped.

That was Fri. and I'm half way through the book now (since I had to wait 3 hours to get my license renewed today.) It's a good book that addresses a new and serious attack on Christianity.

Reviews by two of America's leading theologians:
"Mohler shows us what's going on (in this crucial debate), shows us how much depends on the outcome of this titanic culture shift, and provides guidance to the resources Christians need to challenge the New Atheism root and branch." - D.A. Carson

"Doo da da doo!" - Levi Ezelle

You crack me up. Sounds like Levi is taking it all in for sure!
