We recently took a family trip to go see some of the Mayan ruins in our district. It was HOT, but we had a good time. We managed to get a pretty good family pic if I do say so myself. We set the camera on the steps of the ruins in front of us and, Voila! Can you believe it only took two tries to get this shot. One year we seriously took about 10-12 pictures to get a good family shot. We're improving!
If you look close you can see the two "sons of thunder" had sweaty heads from the heat. Also, check out Amie's koshtal (Kekchi name for the purse) she's sporting. We had just bought it from one of the Mayan ladies selling crafts at the entrance to the ruins. Accents her natural beauty I think. :-)
